Last year we decided to search for a house in Nevada or Arizona, originally looking in the Laughlin – Bullhead City area. The real estate agents we encountered didn’t seem interested in zeroing in on our needs, particularly when it came to mortgage financing. When we switched our search to Las Vegas and discovered Katie, we found an agent who asked good questions, knew how to listen, and zeroed in on the wishes and needs of a couple of retired professors. She was also a good teacher about all the hoops and intricate regulations that complicate the purchase of a home here in Nevada. The following quote is from a note I made in my email address book after our first few meetings with Katie: She was quite professional and knowledgeable. If she didn’t know the answer to one of our many questions, she said so and would find out the answer. Her follow-up emails were detailed, precise, appropriately brief but thorough, and provided additional, helpful information that we hadn’t asked for. She is quick, sharp, and an excellent multi-tasker. Katie is the second generation in the family business, Mt. Charleston Realty, Inc. In every aspect of buying our Las Vegas home, we felt we could trust Katie to represent our interests in a knowledgeable, professional, and responsive way.

We were about to give up and just walk away from our dream home, when one of us got laid off. Then we talked to our neighbors who were doing a short sale with Tomashowski Team. They told them our situation and said for us to call them, so we did. They came to our home and talked to us and were very up-front and honest ~ and gave us hope. Katie and the Tomashowski Team did a "GREAT JOB". Katie kept us informed regularly and was very supportive. We finished the short sale on Friday, August 31st . I have known Katie Tomashowski for several years now, working in the real estate business myself, in addition to employing her as my realtor. When I first considered buying a cabin on Mt. Charleston in 2001, I contacted Angie (from a flyer) and asked her opinion about the cabin I was interested in. Although she was not the listing agent or my realtor, she was kind enough to take the time and share her knowledge about the mountain, and give me her professional opinion about the cabin I wanted.
